Here are some things that bloggers cannot state:

Item 1:
No matter how much objective evidence that falls on your lap, you must not repeat allegations that Kitty Kelly had a lesbian affair with Jane Fonda in 1975. It did not happen in 1975, and Ms. Fonda will adamantly insist that she's not a lesbian....Kitty Kelly was not available for comment.

Item 2:
No matter how much objective evidence is staring you in the face, Amir Attaran is not a Taliban operative. For that matter, regardless of how much evidence some may believe they have that could get Amir thrown in jail on charges of conspiracy, we cannot state such. Furthermore, bloggers should at no time feed the contentions that the CBC, the LPC and dear old Amir are working in concert to undermine the NATO mission in Afghanistan. Let it also be noted that we cannot cite examples (no matter how openly blatant) proving beyond a doubt this is the case. If Amir, the LPC, or the CBC are guilty of such, then we must let the authorities investigate and lay charges as appropriate.
