Operation hard right turn

Now is the time.
Hard right turn for legislation in the HoC.
The libs want to distance themselves from the NDP and appear centrist.
They still however have a bevy of far left MP's in caucus that will rebel if Iggy tries it.
The budget is the time to push them.
Make the libs die by a thousand budget cuts.

Nov 18 2010 - conservative moment

There is some accusations that the PM is guilty of some kind of maniacal tyranny because the climate change bill died in the Senate.

The facts:

  • The bill died because 15 liberal senators caught the Parliamentary flu.
  • If they have a problem with "un-elected" senators, all they need do is support Harper on his senate reform bill

Did they ever consider that those unelected liberal senators that didn't show up could possibly be because they never supported the bill in the first place, but at the time it was tabled caucus solidarity (like the type that killed the bill to end the LGR) made them vote in favour of anything pro-kyoto?

So some guy in the states, upset over the results on Dancing with the Stars, reacts violently because he's tired of politics and Palin. I anxiously await the barrage of media headlines on angry american's......anytime now.....

One word of advice. The IPO that GM is doing. One word "toxic". Don't touch it with a ten foot pole. Reason: Until GM has a generational change and gets that unfunded pension liability under control, they are just playing a shell game with the share holders. And it won't matter how good the product is, or even if sales go through the roof.

If the government wants to help, here's what they really need to do. Put some restrictions on the organization that rates corporate liability.
