vandals that pose as G20 protesters

Here is what is flawed about the assumption that Prime Minister Harper is responsible for the vandalism.
To believe he is responsible for the acts of these terrorists you must believe the following lies:

  1. That vandals have a right to destroy property.
  2. That visiting heads of state are never under threat from anyone.
  3. That the civil authority has no legal right to limit or restrict exclusive use of public property.
  4. That all police work without pay.
  5. Finally, that the vandals bear no responsibility for their actions.

Here is what you have accomplished.
You have single-handedly proven beyond a doubt that Ann Coulter was right.
You have tarnished the reputation of every left leaning org and political party in Canada as being just as brain dead as you are.
Proven to the writer that you are no different than the Taliban.

Remember when Harper warned the opposition about giving him justification about investigating past Prime Ministers?

They should be careful what they ask for.

"The long-delayed report examined a sample of 39 contracts signed in 2002-2003, during the last year of the Jean Chretien government and in the midst of the sponsorship scandal.
At the time, the Privy Council Office — home to the prime minister’s office and the centre of the public service — signed more than 3,000 contracts annually, worth $21 million."

They asked for it, they got it.

Court got this one right.

Pinch me I'm dreaming. You can bet this is going to get buried by the rest of the MSM

Canadian court refuses to declare Iraq invasion illegal
U.S. army deserters lose refugee bid
CanWest News ServicePublished: Friday, May 04, 2007
Two American army deserters who fled to Canada to avoid the war in Iraq have lost a bid for refugee status after the Federal Court of Appeal refused to declare the 2003 invasion illegal. The Federal Court of Appeal rejected claims from Jeremy Hinzman and Brandon Hughey, the first of hundreds of U.S. soldiers who crossed the border rather than face court martial and imprisonment for refusing to serve in a war they say they morally oppose and is illegal because it was not sanctioned by the United Nations. Jeffry House, a lawyer for the two men -- now living in Toronto -- estimated roughly 40 Americans have sought refugee status to avoid the Iraq war. Another 150 or so are in Canada but they have not filed refugee claims. Mr. House said he will ask the Supreme Court of Canada to review the case.

and you'll never see it published in the London's own liberal soap box.

To dove tail to this story, I'd like to ask the plaintiff's.

Why do you want to retain the citizenship of a country you left year's ago to take up citizenship here? I'm not saying you have no right to live and work in Canada, but no one can serve two masters and the concept of "no free lunch" seems to evade them.

Update:

Just a thought. If the highest court in Canada says that UN declarations cannot override the laws of a state, does this not also apply to something like the IPCC?
I'll presume that it does and therefore also contend that if the PM decides in the future that Kyoto is a threat to our soveriegnity, that we can pullout of the thing.

The liberals are going Dion in the polls.

The media is frantically sighting the latest SES poll to fill in the blanks on their pre-written stories.

Go ahead and pile on boys and girls but don't forget to do some real investigative reporting.

See it matters not one bit who is leading the liberals right now because the way they have choosen to elect their leader has shackled them to the modus operandi of pandering to the interest groups. Said interest groups have co-opted the party so much that now the leader in fear of offending the most vocal members of the party, repeat vebatum whatever is near and dear to those groups.
So it would matter not a wit if Bobo Rae, Iggy, or even the annointed one Justin was leader. Until the liberals actually decide to draw a policy line in the sand they will be at the behest of any nutbar group that wants a soapbox to stand on.

Suck to be them.

Liberals make it official its now the Toronto Party

Here's a hint.

When you make an effort to reach out to rebuild a national alternative to the governing party, you might want to run some so-called star candidates outside of the GTA.
